John P. Shober, PT, DPT, OCS

In honor of John P. Schober, original founder of Hunt Valley PT: John was a 1977 graduate of the University of Maryland at College Park and a 1980 graduate of the University of Maryland’s School of Medicine, Department of Physical Therapy. He had served as an adjunct faculty at the school’s Physical Therapy Department. He earned a Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy at Rocky Mountain University in Utah in 2005.

John’s specialty was Orthopedic Physical Therapy and is board certified in Electrophysiologic Physical Therapy.

He served as a national delegate to the American Physical Therapy Association and served on the Maryland State Board of Physical Therapy Examiners for 10 years. He was interested in active aging and passionate about attaining independence in his patient population.
