Location: Lutherville-Timonium, Maryland
Employment Type: Full-time
Job Requirements: Requires a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) from a CAPTE accredited Physical Therapy Program plus at least 6 months’ relevant physical therapy experience. Also requires a current Physical Therapist License or Compact Privilege in Maryland and current CPR Certification.
Compensation: $80,101.00 per year
Duties:
- Obtain patient’s medical history; evaluate and administer treatment pursuant to the physician referral.
- Complete all appropriate documentation in the patient’s medical records.
- Instruct patient and family members in necessary patient care, assist in the total rehabilitation of the patient; assist in training of support personnel and in the presentation of in-service programs; and perform clerical and other duties as assigned.
- Other essential duties and responsibilities will include the following: perform initial evaluation of the patient’s status prior to treatment; contact the referring physician, as indicated, and discuss appropriate patient treatment plan; and administer treatments to the patient in accordance with the physician referral.
- Treatments can include any of the following: Astym Treatment; Deep Tissue Laser Therapy; Trigger Point Dry Needling; Manual Therapy; Pelvic Health; Physical Therapy; Post-COVID Rehabilitation; Post-Surgery Rehab; Pulmonary PT; Shockwave Therapy; Sports Therapy; Vestibular Rehab; and Laser Therapy.
