About

Justin Gittings, PT, DPT, SFMA-Lvl1, is a physical therapist at Peake Physical Therapy, Baltimore, MD. He completed his doctorate of physical therapy at the University of Maryland Eastern Shore in September of 2016, and joined the Peake team in December 2016. He is currently in a manual therapy-based fellowship through IMPACT and enjoys working with a variety of patients, utilizing manual therapy and corrective exercises to improve quality of life.

Justin was previously a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist and uses that experience in his work with athletes, strength coaches, and active individuals. He performs sport-specific evaluations and implements strategies for rehabilitation and prevention of injury. Justin specializes in movement-based rehabilitation, biomechanical evaluation in sports, and strength and conditioning programs. He combines his knowledge as both a PT and a CSCS to maximize function and reduce time lost due to injury.

Justin interests include manual therapy, sports medicine, spine health, kettlebell and CrossFit training, and modification of fitness programs and sports conditioning to achieve goals.
