Taping for Plantar Fasciitis and Shin Splints

Not a day goes by that we are not providing a patient or two with a tape job on their foot/feet. Most patients tend to need taping due to a problem with plantar fasciitis. However it can be used for the benefit of many other foot issues. The benefit of taping provides an individual with added support to the arches of the foot and can serve as a good prognostic to custom orthotics. And if you ever need a refresher, you can always visit us for a step by step tutorial on how to properly tape your foot.

Come in for a personal demonstration and instruction session. We can provide you with some foot shortening exercises that will promote the strengthening of the intrinsic muscles (smaller muscles) of the foot. These exercises will provide stability to the legs, hips, and low back.
